Webinar Description
In marketing products and services, you
always start with the Four Ps: Product; Price; Place (Distribution) and
Promotion. Promotion covers the communication link between sellers and
buyers for the purpose of influencing, informing, or persuading a
potential buyer's purchasing decision. In other words, it’s all the
aspects of reaching and involving your target audience to become aware of,
have interest in and, then, buy what you’re selling.
Two key components of ‘promotion’ are advertising, “The non-personal
communication of information usually paid for & usually persuasive in
nature, about products (goods & services) or ideas by identified sponsor
through various media;” and promotion, “marketing activities other than
personal selling, advertising, and public relations.”
In this class, we’ll learn about these two parts of the marketing mix,
their strengths and weaknesses, and how to apply them to promote your
exhibit to the attending audience. |
